
Dr. Elizabeth E. Barkley is a Socio-Ecological Education Specialist and emerging K–12 administrator who unites educational leadership, learning science, and holistic student development. Since entering the field in 2014 with dual training in medical sciences and school counseling, she has applied an interdisciplinary approach to improving teaching, learning, and schoolwide systems.
Over the past 15 years, she has transformed classrooms and multi-tiered support programs through environmental design, cultural responsiveness, and relationship-centered practices. Her expertise includes strengthening school teams, building equitable learning environments, and integrating educational technology with meaningful academic and behavioral supports.
Dr. Barkley is recognized for dramatically accelerating student achievement raising reading and math performance by over 200% in targeted groups and enhancing school readiness through comprehensive clinical learning-treatment strategies.
An intuitive practitioner, she brings visionary leadership to every setting. Her work socio-ecological influence continues to shape schools into safe, dynamic, and developmentally rich environments where students mature academically and socially, and educators flourish through connection, purpose, and transformative treatment based learning systems.
